Frequently Asked QuestionsAre Colporteur Books and Cheapread Books the same?
Yes. We used to sell under the name "Cheapread Books," but changed names to Colporteur Books when we moved into our brick and mortar bookstore at 2015 Mulberry Street, Montgomery, AL 36106What does "colporteur" mean?
A colporteur is a seller of religious books, which is what we specialize in.Why do some books cost just a few dollars, while a few other ones that I found were nearly $100?
Our prices are guided by the online used market. Sometimes out of print books can sell for inflated prices, especially if the demand is still high for them. Collectible books can also be quite pricey. In any case, we strive to provide reasonable prices based on the market value of a book. |
